MyNiche is designed as a sleek, low-maintenance website to showcase your services. You won’t need to make regular changes that’s the whole point. But if you ever want to update something, you can simply purchase Maintenance Credits whenever you need them to make changes or add sections. Learn more in the FAQ below.

Your maintenance fees are separate from your yearly MyNiche webpage fee. You need to have a MyNiche web page in order to purchase credits.
Have a look at the credit list below, or contact me and we’ll sort out the right option together. If your request isn’t listed, I’ll simply assign a fair credit value based on the time and work involved.

Extra revisions +1 each
Note about revisions and credits:
Revisions are extra tweaks within the same task(s) that have already been paid for with credits. They don't cover completely new tasks.
Scenario
You use 2 credits to change a link and 1 credit to update a service description (total 3 credits). Each 3-credit set comes with 1 revision.
If you notice a mistake in the link or the service description, you can use 1 revision to fix either or both at the same time. If you update one and later realise the other also needs a change after the page has been updated, you will need to use another revision credit. That’s why it’s best to review all changes carefully in one go.
If you want to change something completely new (like a different image or a new section), you need to use more credits. See credit list.

(Credits without Subscription)
Understanding the Credit Sytem
1. What exactly counts as a credit?
A credit is the system used to request updates. Each update task costs a set number of credits and is based on the amount of work involved.
2. How many credits do I need for a simple update?
It depends on what you need changed. A task may cost 1, 2 or 3 credits. See the credits list.
3. What’s the difference between small, medium, and big changes?
The difference are the amount of tasks you need done. Small: 1–2 quick adjustments. Medium: Several changes or anything that needs a bit more time. Big: Larger updates, extra elements, restructuring, or anything more detailed.
4. Can I mix different types of changes in one request?
Yes, but the credit cost will be based on the task associated with the credit.
5. If something takes longer than expected, will it use more credits?
No. Once a task is classified, the credit cost stays the same. However, if the task becomes longer because you request additional changes, or if new requests are added, extra credits will be required.
Buying Credits
1. How many credits should I buy to start with?
If you’re unsure, start with a small bundle. You can always add more later.
2. Do I have to buy credits every time I want changes?
You only need to purchase more credits when your balance runs out. You can top up anytime.
If your request requires more credits than you currently have, we’ll complete the part covered by your remaining credits and send you an invoice for the additional work before continuing.
Expiry & Usage
Understanding the Credit Sytem
1. When do my credits expire?
Credits expire 3 months after your last usage but it restarts every time you use a credit
2. Can I carry unused credits over?
Yes. As long as you use at least one within the months required to keep them active.
What if I don't have anything to update within those months?
No worries. If you join my newsletter, I’ll send you gentle reminders and update suggestions to help keep your webpage fresh.
3. Can I get a refund for unused credits?
No, credits are non-refundable.
4. Do credits expire even if I only use one?
Using just one resets the timer for all remaining credits.
Process
1. How do I request an edit using my credits?
As long as you have a web page, you can submit your update through the edit request form provided. Your credits will be deducted automatically.
2. How long does it take for updates to be made?
Depending on the waiting list, most updates are completed within 3-5 working days.
3. Do I need credits for urgent changes?
Urgent requests cost additional credits credits. See Credit list.
3. Can I send multiple updates at once to save credits?
Yes, but they will be grouped and charged based on the overall size of the task.
4. Do revisions cost extra credits?
Up to 2 minor revisions (such as misspelling or placement) to the same request are included. New revisions or additional updates require credits.
Technical / Policy
1. Can credits be transferred to another webpage I own?
If you have a MyNiche Webpage, your credits are linked to your name no matter how much webpages you have with us.
2. Do I need credits even if the mistake was on your side?
No. Any mistakes from my side are corrected for free.
3. Do credits cover adding new sections or just tweaks?
Credits cover both new section and maintenance, but new sections will require more credits . See credit list
Money and Value
1. Is it cheaper to buy a subscription instead of credits?
Yes. If you expect regular updates, a maintenance subscription may be more cost-effective.
2. How much can I realistically get done with 5 credits?
E.g Update a paragraph in the about section +1
Change the title and description for a visual service +1
Change up to 2 images at once +1
Create a new link button +2
